All processes required to transform the Cadillac XTS into the Cadillac "XTS-L Long Door Sedan" are completed in–house, under one roof by Lehmann-Peterson at our manufacturing facility. Our conversion/modification processes are inspected annually by Cadillac Motors, a division of General Motors Company. The purpose of these annual inspections is to ensure that we maintain Cadillac's original equipment manufacturer (OEM) design. In order to achieve this, our manufacturing facility is outfitted with much of the same equipment and processes utilized by Cadillac's manufacturing plant. Our facility's production line was designed to effectively and efficiently perform the construction required to maintain Cadillac's precision engineering and luxury features, while following Cadillac Master Coachbuilder guidelines.
The XTS-L extended sedan chassis is engineered for the rigors of the chauffeured transportation industry. Solid steel construction is used when extending the chassis. Once the frame work is completed, the vehicle is prepared to be completely repainted by our in-house state-of-the-art automotive paint facility.
